Excellent optical performance

All optical components of the DM500 series use the same level of optics as Leica research microscope products, and can be used with Leica's full range of microscope accessories.

Durable, high-level lighting system

A white LED light source with a statistical average lifespan of more than 20 years, the Leica EZLITE lighting system gives you a stable, reliable and high-color rendering light source. Each magnification is marked on the condenser to help students adjust it to the appropriate position when using it, making it easy to operate. The condenser has a reserved slide slot to expand dark field and phase difference accessories. If the microscope is not operated for 2 consecutive hours, the power of the microscope will be automatically cut off to save energy.

Leica SAFETSTAGE safety micro-motion stage design, the edge of the stage adopts an enlarged rounded shape, no protruding ruler bars, XY micro-motion controls the slide movement, safe operation and comfortable hand feel. The Leica EZGUIDE slide holder is specially designed for the teaching field to prevent accidental breakage of slides.

Smooth and precise micro-movement mechanism

The focus wheel and XY micro-adjustment wheel adopt appropriate damping, which also provides sufficient inertia and rotates smoothly, allowing you to accurately operate the focus or move the specimen.

Body shape for easy movement and storage

The handle design on the back of the machine allows the machine to be moved easily and stably, making it suitable for teaching areas such as laboratories and schools. The overall shape design is streamlined and smooth, reducing the chance of the microscope being snagged during storage or moving. The integrated line design at the rear of the machine body maintains a streamlined shape when stored.

USB interface power output

There is a 5V/1.5A USB power output interface on the back of the LEICA DM500 fuselage, which can be used as the power supply connector of the micro camcorder. There is no need to use an additional power supply and occupy a plug.

Antibacterial body

All contact points of Leica microscopes are carefully treated with antibacterial treatments to inhibit bacterial growth. Helps prevent the spread of disease through contact with microscope surfaces and contributes to a healthier laboratory environment.
