[Shangchen Course: Microscope Observation and Basic Operations]
Shang Chen Optical is a senior professional manufacturer of astronomical optics and microscientific instruments in Taiwan. It feels the concept of giving back to the society and shoulders the responsibility of inheriting the experience of optical instruments. In 2009, Shangchen Optics began to offer free public teaching classes for elementary, junior high and high school teachers. There is a theme course every month, including astronomy education-related hardware operation courses and natural science microscope imaging teaching courses.
Shangchen’s philosophy is: If we pass on the experience we have learned to the teachers and customers we care about, through open courses, more people will know more about optical equipment, and teachers will have a place to consult and make updates. By making good use of our own resources, or by learning more about the existing equipment and improving it, the teachers already have rich teaching experience and love, and can be more powerful to educate the next generation we care about well. Students must be the biggest beneficiaries, and they are also the starting point for us to pass it on from generation to generation. They are also the biggest motivation for continuing to promote it.
